Description

Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue presents our Annual Spring Fundraising Event: The ART of WINE Festival & Gala!

Join your friends and community for an afternoon of wine tasting and fun in a spectacular setting, followed by a Gala Dinner under the oaks.

The ART of WINE FESTIVAL begins at 3 PM

  • Food and wine tasting with 10 different wineries: MALIBU WINES/SADDLEROCK, MONTAGE, CIELO, AJA, OPOLO, DOLIN
  • Malibu Wine Safari Tours (+$35 add-on) and visits with Stanley the Giraffe
  • Classic & Antique car show
  • Enjoy live music by LENNY GOLDSMITH and The New Old
  • Exciting Live and Silent Auctions (worth the price of the ticket alone!) and an incredible Wine Cellar Raffle presented by Malibu's favorite MC, Ted Silverberg.
  • The Festival portion of the event concludes at 7 PM.

GALA DINNER guests attend from 4-9 PM.

  • Following the Festival activities, Gala Dinner guests will be seated under the oaks for a 3-course catered dinner.
  • Catered by LA Roots with 3 entree options: Beef, Fish, Vegetarian.
  • Wines provided by Saddlerock Wines and Montage Wines
  • Honoree Award Presentation
  • Live music and dancing under the stars with Lenny Goldsmith and The New Old
  • There will also be a bar available during dinner.
  • Gala Dinner guests, please arrive at 4 PM. The Gala Dinner concludes at 9 PM.

We recognize these Honorees for קום ועשה, kum v’aseh, or “get up and go!” exemplifying their dedication to the spiritual and physical protection and rebuilding of our community during and after the Woolsey Fire. And in doing so, we honor everyone who has responded with care, compassion, generosity and resilience.

  • Tribute Ads: A printed Tribute Book will be given to Gala Dinner guests. $500 / $250 / $125 / $50 options. Ads due Fri. 4/19.

Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue is a 501c3 organization, Federal Tax ID # 95-3514894. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. TIcket prices in excess of $100/Gala Dinner and $30/Festival are considered a donation.



FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. This is a 21+ event and we will ask to see ID for all attendees to ensure the safety of our guests.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We recommend taking Uber or Lyft. There is valet parking at the venue. Complimentary for MJCS members.

What can I bring into the event?

Please do not bring outside food or beverages. We recommend shoes appropriate for walking on grass, and if you will be attending the Gala Dinner, a layer for after dark. We will have heaters, but we want you to be comfortable!

What's the refund policy?

Eventbrite ticket purchases can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days prior to the event. Tickets purchased over the phone or by mail are non-refundable. Tribute ads and sponsorships are non refundable.
